Just another afternoon of painting

I'm still trying to get caught up. I want to share these videos with you so you can enjoy William!
I'm steadily trying to get caught up. Just stay with me...

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love my child. I simply can't find the words to describe how much I love enjoying the simple things in life that come with being a Mommy. I jump at the chance to experience life with William. Every day is a new adventure. Every day he's learning and doing something new. I am constantly amazed as I watch him grow. I am so gratefu that I am able to be home with him daily. I am left speechless some days as I watch my blessing. God is so good. I am truly blessed and never ever want to take that for granted. Thank you God for my William.

His favorite activity lately it seems is painting. I can't tell you how often we pull out the paint and paint paint paint. He loves it. He seems so focused on what he's creating and just being hands-on discovering new things. I do love this time. He is so happy to just be "let loose" with his paint. I try to capture his little face and his excitement so one day when he's all grown, I can replay all the many tiny wonders...

Oh, I love my child!!

Batter Up!

This past summer William discovered "baseball"! As soon as his daddy would get home, it was "Daddy, hit ball, Daddy,Daddy, Daddy". Just priceless!!

"1, 2, 3, SWING"

I do believe we have a future star pitcher on our hands!!

Every afternoon when Philip would get home and William wanted to play "hit, ball" my heart would just burst with excitement just imagining what's to come...Oh, how I love my husband and little boy!

My weekend with Anna July 24-26

How exciting!! Philip went out of town for a guys weekend, so I invited Anna to come down so we could just spend some time together. Lately, we've only been doing photography together, so this weekend was just for us to catch up and relax! Anna came down that Friday afternoon with Linden, Ava and Isabella. We were so ready to see them!! First thing (after the kids checked out the playroom and had a snack) we did was head to the beach just in time for sunset! The kids just played and played! William loved having his cousins down to play! He kept right up with Linden (5 almost 6) and Ava (3) with little Isabella (1) right behind him! So cute! Anna and just sat there and laughed as we watched our babies play together. Such sweet memories!! We finally loaded the kids back up and headed on back to the house. What better for dinner than....Chinese delivery!! It's a thing between us two that somehow we always have Chinese when we are together! I did have to get in the car and track down the guy b/c he couldn't find my house...Too funny! Dinner=AWESOME!! The kids loved it too! We put all 4 kids in the tub for a bubble bath and of course pictures! It was an awesome night!

Saturday we woke up and just hung out around the house for the morning. We did have a "painting party" and let the kids paint. It was total wackiness and totally awesome! William of course was painting and painting and painting, mixing the colors and using his hands as well as paint brushes. Linden and Ava were concentrating on actual pictures, patiently using certain colors at a time. Anna did get some great pictures...but we think somehow in the mix of the weekend, we lost the memory card (pray we find it) We decided to head down to the fountains at Seacrest before the beach. I can't begin to describe how much fun the kids had! All 4 kids were laughing and having a blast running (crawling) through the fountains. Their laughter was sheer bliss! William loved standing right in the middle and letting the water fall down on his head. He would occasionally look up at me and burst into the biggest smile ever. Cute pictures of all the kids. Pizza was on the menu for lunch. We had the best...Pizza by the sea... We loaded back up and went down to the beach for more fun. The kids had a blast again building sand castles everywhere. William loved smashing them while Linden loved building them...haha! It was perfect out on the beach!

Saturday night we just hung out at the house with the kids. I did help Anna create a blog b/c Isabella had us up until around 2 a.m. We didn't care! Oh, and Ava found William's pack-n-play and wanted to sleep in it in "ya-ya's" room. (I'm ya-ya). I set it up with blankets and animals, but she ended up in bed with me instead :) She's a doll! I love sweet Ava..but I love all of Anna's babies! They are so precious!
Sunday morning we slept in a little b/c of our late night! (Thanks kids for sleeping!) We ended our weekend out on the beach again. The sun was beautiful!! It was priceless! Thanks Anna for coming to spend the weekend with me!!

July Visit with Hunter and Whitney

Hunter and his girlfriend, Whitney, came down to visit us the weekend of July 18....yes...I'm this far behind...but trying to catch up!
We had a great time hanging out with them. It's always fun to spend time with family. I had been telling William they were coming all day and he didn't want to go down for his nap b/c he wanted to see "HUNNEWR. I did manage to get him down for a nap before they arrived so he would be ready to play play play! He loves Hunter! He gets so excited when we get to see him. Hunter is a great Uncle! He is all smiles around William and just laughs and has fun. He's a natural! I can't express how much I love watching my brother with my child. It's amazing!
As soon as they got here, we grabbed the wagon went for a walk around the block. So much fun! William loves his red wagon...Thanks Maggie and Granddaddy! We played outside for little bit. Philip stayed at the house getting dinner ready while William and I went down to Seaside with Hunter and Whitney. She wanted to shop at the little shops in Seaside so off we went. Hunter patiently played with William in the little playhouse area behind the shops. After shopping, we headed down to the beach so they could get some "sunset pictures". William was my little helper. He stayed right by my side and just hung out while I played photographer. It was fun. Hunter and Whitney and William splashed in the water a little before we headed on back to the house.
We enjoyed a fantastic dinner together. Philip made some amazing short ribs...oh so good! He also servede some oh so yummy carrots! My husband is such a chef! I put William down for the night and joined the "party" downstairs. "DJ" Philip was entertaining us with the ipod and playing a bunch of old school music. We just hung out in the kitchen dancing and being silly. We all needed the comic relief :) It got pretty silly but we all had a blast!

Sunday morning we all slept in and hung out with William. The guys were watching the British Open on TV so it was a pretty low key day. Whitney gave William a bath while I cleaned up the playroom. She loves giving him a bath:) He loves splashing around and blowing bubbles. It was a great visit with Hunter and Whitney. It was short and sweet. They headed on home a little after lunch and Philip and I just hung out with William for the rest of the afternoon.
I think maybe we went to the beach...so long ago...
Like I said...I am behind on my blog..but doing my best in what little free time I have to update.

July Visit with The Greene Family and Aunt Babs

Our summer continues...July 17th
After art class on Friday (7/17) I drove over to Navarre to pick up my Aunt Babs and head over to Pensacola Beach to visit Mike, Aimee, Elle, John Michael and Chloe. Aimee is Aunt Babs' daughter. Elle was a junior bridesmaid in my wedding so she is very dear to my heart. They live in Shreveport, LA so we seldom get to see them! They usually come to the beach once a summer, so I try to get over there while they are down. I love spending time with Aunt Babs so it's a double blessing for me.
William was a trooper! He had art class that morning...rode in the car w/out a nap and ate a quick lunch at Babs before heading over to P'cola Beach...only to head right out to the beach! He saw the sand and just giggled and started saying "Beach, Moma, Beach, Moma"! It was fantastic! Just sitting on the beach with Aimee and Elle watching William play in the sand. Aunt Babs stayed up at the condo. She's not much for the beach anymore she says. Elle's boyfriend, brother and Dad came down after a while and then Chloe (her 9 y/o sister) came down with her friend. She LOVES William! He seems to really know her and be so happy to just play together. It was really neat! They are all down at the beach with about 4 families. William entertained all the girls. He really loved the "toss the ball on rope" game (sorry, I don't know the exact name). The girls just giggled and let him have all the balls and he would try to toss them, but would get caught up in the rope. Too cute!
Chloe and I got in the water to swim a little with William. He loved the waves. Then it was back to his buckets. Chloe ever so patiently filled buckets with sand and water and toted them where ever he wanted. They were just too cute together!

We finally headed on up the condo for some snacks and to get cleaned up for dinner. We were also looking for Philip. He came over after work. William was so excited to see his daddy and show him the balconies. I know the balconies are safe, but they scare me (and Philip) now that we are parents! It was a task keeping W off the balcony and inside the condo!! We did snag a few cute pictures though.
The whole group headed over to Crab Trap for dinner. Bless Philip...he ended up on the playground the entire night with William. Once William saw the playground, he wanted nothing to do with eating nor sitting at the table. I enjoyed visiting with everyone though. Aimee is such a wonderful person I'm blessed to call her family. Elle is so precious. She just graduated from High School. She has a natural welcoming personality you can't help but feel good about yourself. John Michael is a reserved young man with great manners. Chloe is just as precious as Elle. She has a very sweet spirit about her and is full of life. It was a great visit! I hated that it was so short, but I'll take what I can get! I drove Aunt Babs and Chloe back to Navarre before heading on home with William. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
